* Solid relational database knowledge
* Responsible for the operation of our 24x7 mission-critical database servers
* Working in a large multi-international team
* Monitoring of database usage and tuning systems to optimize performance
* Implement database to database replication
* Database backup and recovery
* Troubleshooting of database issues
* Establish database design and coding standards
* Work with our software developers to develop and maintain database objects (e.g., Tables, Indexes, Stored procedures, Triggers)

Requirements:

5+ years experience an Oracle DBA
5+ years experience writing PL/SQL and shell scripts
Experience with Oracle High Availability and Disaster Recovery (Oracle RAC)
Experience of working with data warehouse and OLAP cubes
In depth knowledge of database design, scalability, availability and normalization
Understanding and experience implementing Oracle security, auditing and best practices
In depth knowledge and experience with advanced PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers and replication
Experience with Oracle monitoring, optimization and performance tuning
Experience working to standard procedures and change control
