Description:
Our client, an International Social/Mobile Games Company is recruiting for a Lead Programmer for their Montreal Studio.
Must haves:
- Very strong back-end development experience with Open Source languages, such as Linux, PHP, Apache, mySQL
- Strong leadership (team and preferably project) experience in at least 1 major project; team size should be decent (3+)
- Passion for game development and play
Nice-to-haves:
- Mobile / Gaming / Social-Gaming experience is now a nice-to-have, but they figure that the right candidate will be able to pick this up
- Distributed storage experience
- A large part of this role will be porting major applications from Apple iOS to Android
