Main Duties:

1. Assist in fabric purchasing

2. Assist in fabric research

3. Becoming part of our fabric QC Team

4. Assist in Fabric testing and examining

5. Performs laboratory tests to determine whether textile and apparel products adhere to regulatory standards.
6. Perform testing to determine chemical characteristics of textiles for such purposes as quality control or product development.

7. Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.

Criteria:
1. Possesses good knowledge of woven garment construction and sewing, as well as technical & quality garment requirements.

2. 10+ years Experience in the importation and production of garments
3. Must have good English and French writing skills
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

5. Willing to travel an asset

6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (textile Engineering, textile technology, or textile chemistry preferred).
Must have Minimum of 10 years textile testing experience will be desirable.
7. Good technical and analytical skills required.
8. Good communication skills and technical problem solving skills required.
